Brownies, Decorating Cakes, and Terrariums: How-To Shows Spring 2013
by Marsha Little Matthews
Tuesday, April 16, kicked off the spring 2013 10-minute how-to-shows for the Multimedia Production classes. This semester there are two sections of the course with a total of 27 students. Our new mass communication major launched Fall 2012. The reconfigured major has a multimedia storytelling focus and two options: Multimedia Journalism and Public Relations Integrated Communication. This spring, with a demand for two sections of the course, suggests the new MCOM program is already attracting new students.
Our first day of studio production features three shows. Cooking in College demonstrates that you don’t need a lot of kitchen tools to make brownies, even in the dorm. Cake Creations reveals a few of the professional cake decorator’s tricks. And, DIY: Terrarium shows you how to create your own terrariums.
