  3. I think these shows were awesome! I knew we would be pros by this time. Karena didn’t get to put her gummy worms in but you couldn’t even tell! I liked how informational Darby’s show was and the director was very good about changing camera shots at the right time. Brad’s show was good but they could have used camera 3 a little more.

  4. Well done everyone! it took me awhile to actually find Dr. Matthews page but I finally found it!

Darby’s show went well, she does well on camera, I just think the shots were kind of boring. They could have added some sort of movement, or like comments above, tight shots.

I like Karena’s show, I wish I wouldve done something different with camera one, but I think Sam did a great job on her zooms on three, and Karena was also a great host!

I think Brad’s shots worked really well though, I’m kinda jealous! But really, everyone did a great job.

  5. All three hosts did a superb job. Honestly, I think Darby could carry a 30-minute show by herself, no problem. Camera work was a little unsteady in places, Camera 1 needed to tilt up on Karena’s show. One thing I’ve noticed on a lot of our shows is a bit of confusion on talent cues and camera direction. Break and show outros really need to have camera on host, fully in shot, to speak to the audience. If going out on Camera 2, that’s the shot to call on the 15-second cue. Underscores the importance of director, talent, floor director, and camera ops talking before the recording starts.

  6. Thank you!! You are all so sweet!
In my show, my floor director’s hand got in the way of the camera a little, and my audio needs to be turned up. I agree that the shots could have been a little tighter, but overall, I am really glad that I had such a great crew!
Karena, your jokes were great!! The timing seemed a little off at the end, but this was still a great show. Wish I could have tried some of your dirt!
Brad’s shots look fantastic! His set was simple, but it worked well for his theme. Great job Brad! I am glad you beat the M&M.
